A classic trek up the Biafo glacier, Snow Lake and Simkiang glacier then over the challenging Hispar La pass and down to the beautiful Nagar valley, with Views of Bainthabrak, Ogree, Latok groups, and others. The snow lake is the high attitude Glacrical Lake located on 4877 meters (16,000 feet’s) located at the Shisper and Biafo glaciers.  The area of Snow Lake is approximately about 16km wide. Martin Conway for the first time gave the name to Snow Lake in 1892.

Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrive Islamabad and overnight at hotel

Day 02: Flight to Skardu and overnight in hotel

Day 03: Reserve day in Skardu

Day 04: Drive to Askoli by 4WD and Camp.

Day 05: Trek to Jhula (6-7 hrs walk)  Camp

Day 06: Trek to Namla (7-8 hrs walk)  Camp

Day 07: Trek to Mango (5-6 hrs)  Camp

Day 08: Trek to Baintha (6-7 hrs)  Camp

Day 09: Rest day at Baintha  Camp

Day 10: Trek to Karfogoro (6-7 hrs)  Camp

Day 11: Trek to Snow Lake (5-6 hrs)  Camp

Day 12: Trek across Hispar La to Khani Basa (7-8 hrs)  Camp

Day 13: Trek to Jutmo (5-6 hrs)  Camp

Day 14: Trek to Bittenmal (5-6 hrs) Camp

Day 15: Rest day at Bittenmal  Camp

Day 16: Trek to Hispar (5-6 hrs) Camp

Day 17: Drive by 4WD to Hunza Hotel

Day 18: Sigt seeing in Hunza  Hotel

Day 19: Drive to Gilgit

Day 20: Flight to Islamabad Hotel

Day 21: Sightseeing in Islamabad and Taxila

Day 22: Return flight.
